Other features

This is a brief summary of the other features available in ThunderSite (for a detailed description of each one, please consult the online help) :

• You can define the information that search engines use to reference your website. To access this feature, you can use the contextual menu (Website properties...) or the menu Website > Definition...
• You can insert your own logo into all the pages. Use the menu Webite > Logo.
• You can insert copyright information at the bottom of all the pages (and put a hyperlink in the copyright: see the one related to this Sample Website).  To modify copyright information, go to the menu Website > Copyright.
• When you delete a website’s media element (image, Flash movie, video) from the website structure, the media will be automatically deleted from all pages in the website.
• You can modify the form of the left hand navigation bar to have a listbox menu (also called a Choice list).  The listbox menu is more practical when you have many sibling pages.
• You can insert HTML code or scripts into your pages by going to Insert > HTML Code or Insert > Script.
• You can insert a link to a printer-friendly version of the current web page by going to Insert > Printer Friendly link.
• To publish a website quickly, press F9. To open the navigator at the home page of the last published website, press F12.
• To open a website in ThunderSite, you can either go through the menu Website > Open or go to Windows Explorer and double-click on the ThunderSite project file (.ths).
• You can deactivate the window that appears when you start ThunderSite and choose a default action by going to the menu View > Preferences...
• You can save the "structure" of your website’s pages in the Customized templates collection. You will find all the saved structures in the new website creation assistant. You can use these to create new websites with similar structures.
