The "Media / Sounds" Special Folder

There are two ways to insert sound files: either through the menu Insert > Sound or through a link leading to a sound file previously imported into Media/Sounds.

The second option has the advantage of being compatible with all navigators and all computer platforms.

If you use a hyperlink, the sound will be played by the default sound player on the end user's computer.  Here is a link to test an MP3 sound file.

When you insert a sound file into ThunderSite, it is automatically copied into a folder called "Media / Sounds".

Note that you can also insert a background sound.
